Beginning of the project “SEAM: Social Education of Adults through Mobility”

Seven organizational partners the European Union launched the project "Social adult education through mobility" which will be implemented over the next two years. 

Seven new vocational trainings for librarians have been launched

Trainings are being funded by the "I can do more" scheme of the "Human Resources" Operational Programme and are being held in seven different towns

ICCA Launched "The Chitalishtes - An Accessible Training Place" Program

The first program activity marks the start of free of charge basic computer literacy trainings for adults in the Chitalishtes, ICCA members.

Training for persons deprived of liberty

The Client of the Key computer competencies training is National Employment Agency and Chief Directorate "Execution of Judgement".

 

40 unemployed persons received certificates of proficiency in the profession “Landscaping worker”

The training for acquisition of first degree qualification in the profession of "Landscaping worker"- "Landscaping and horticulture" was successfully completed by 40 unemployed persons, registered at the "Labor" Directorate in the municipality of Provadia. The training course is part of the "New choice - development and realization" project of the "Development" scheme of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme of the municipality of Provadia, which will provide employment for 33 training members in the town of Provadia and in villages in the municipality.

On June 7th, 2012 in Room 119 at City Hall Deputy Mayor Anatoli Atanasov and Silvia Boeva - Head of the teaching facilities of the Innovative Community Centers Association in Provadia presented certificates of qualification to the future gardeners. Also present were Mrs. Valentina Kirova, Director of "General Administration", Mr. Hyusni Adem- Head of APIO section and Mrs. Rumjana Velikova- Representative of "Labor" Directorate. Landscape and garden design have won recognition in recent years and the occupation of planting is in demand on the labor market by government institutions, businesses and individuals alike, in order to build and maintain green spaces.

The training is being carried out by the Innovative Community Centers Association, a licensed provider of training for the Employment Agency. The "Landscape worker occupation" has been recently added to the license issued for the Association by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training at the request of "Aleko Konstantionov 1884" Innovative Community Center, a member of Innovative Community Centers Association, after study and analysis of local training needs.

This procedure of direct grant assistance has been funded with financial support from the European Union through the European Social Fund.
