The first meeting of the SEAM project in Spain ended successfully
16.04.2015
Representatives of the partner organisations of the SEAM project met from the 08/04/2015 to the 11/04/2015 in Logroño (La Rioja, Spain) in order to open the project and start with its activities.
Representatives of the seven countries involved in the project SEAM participated on its first transnational meeting hosted on the Spanish city of Logroño. This first international event was especially used for two main aims. On one hand, partner organisations had the opportunity to get to know better the other entities involved on the project thanks to an open space created on which the members of each entity had the chance to introduce themselves, their sending organisations, regular programmes and activities, best practices on adult´s education, training methodologies, etc. (special attention was put on those activities related to Gantalcalá as hosting organization of the event). On the other hand, the meeting was used to set all the next steps and agree the logistic issues that will be used during the whole project in order to develop its outputs, meetings, training courses and local workshops for adults over 50 years old that will take place on the seven countries involved on the project (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain).
"SEAM: Social Education of Adults through Mobility" is a two-year strategic partnership at international level coordinated by Asociación Gantalcalá (Spain) with the support of Innovative Community Centres Association (Bulgaria), Diecezni charita Brno (Czech Republic), Passaggi onlus (Italy), Latvian Adult Education Association (Latvia), Municipio de Amarante (Portugal) and Inštitut Antona Trstenjaka za gerontologijo in medgeneracijsko sožitje (Slovenia).
