The anniversary meeting of the members of Innovative Community Centers Association

The Innovative Community Centers Association (ICCA) became 10 years old in September and this was the reason to get together its members, partners and friends from all over Bulgaria at one place.

From 5th to 7th November in Draynovo all together we went back to remember the successes and the challenges from the past 10 years. We tried to find the balance of where we are now and what our role in the community centers in Bulgaria is. Thanks to the "Conference of the Future" we all premeditated the guidelines for our future development in next five years.

The three days we spent together slipped quickly among the discussions, the written lists of the flipcharts, the walks, the sweet talks, among the greetings and the gifts. What remained after them, however, gave us perspective common goals and much to celebrate in the future.

Innovative Community Centers Association released a commemorative brochure where together with the managing board and our partners we shared what is ICCA to all of us:

"ICCA is among the founders of the AGORA Platform and its active member. Together we are changing the environment, we build the capacity of the community centers and their communities, we are also looking for new ways to develop, motivate, support and encourage! We look in one direction, we share common values, and we seek the truth for the change. We can say that the spirit of ICCA is weaved in the Agora platform and it gives the meaning for us to be. I believe that this is also our common future.
We have come a long way together - since 1997 and our common destiny in the project "Community Centers Bulgaria"! We had many battles and won many victories. The changes around us and at the community center`s sector show that the path we are paving is correct.
We thank you ICCA for the 10 years we spent together! I congratulate the team and the Association's members with their first round anniversary and wish them many more anniversaries in the future!"
